Yup those are Myleus schomburgkii. Great dithers for big fish.

to think they are suppose to get to atlest 12" maybe bigger.... but has anyone ever seen any kind of SD that big????

Thanks for the Scientific ID! We'll see if Matt got those at Underwater World, He says they'll have the most diverse collection of Silver Dollars in the world!

They have these guys at the Shedd, Im guessing around 10+ inches in the amazon rising exhibit.

biggest bar dollar ive seen was 7" and i thought it was fullgrown. i thought redhooks were the largest?

they are but blackbars will still get big
