I bought the clown knife with out really knowing that much about them..kind of whim attitude...and some nudging by the LFS sales person i have come to know..but my hubby kept saying no not now ... and i walked away to get some parrot food.. i come back to the fish area and hubby and salesman have the knife all bagged and ready to go.. except it was not the clown knife but the royal... nothing against the Royal but i had my eye on this guy.. so i had to tell them to take the royal and put him back and get me the Clown knife.. spotty.. boy am i glad i stuck to my guns because this guy is turning out to be my all time favorite.. he eats right out of my fingers.. and he eats great..and he is active..never hides and he is awesome.. and can only get more awesome.....with time.. i am a happy keeper and happy my hubby changed his mind. :D here he is with his mouth wide open waiting for next bite..

I've had 3. Sold one 2, kept one. The one I have is pushing 20", the two I sold were 13" and 22". All 3 have been "rescue" fish. I'll get some pix up later on:)

Clown Knives are one of my favorite fish! I love the spots on them and love the way they swim. And when it comes to feeding time...:headbang2 You have an awesome looking CK. Love the patterns on it!

I hope he turns out to be like mine for you.. i had to grow into it too..but he just took over me with his awesome personality... and now he is my baby..:)
