WHAT IS THE BEST SET UP TO HOUSE A RAY. TANK SIZE, SUBSTRATE, FILTRATION, ETC. I REALLY WANT TO TRY ONE OUT, BUT WANTED SOME INFO FROM SOME EXPERTS FOR MY RESEARCH.

One of the most common setups is a 180 with minimal decoration and a layer of sand or small gravel.
Filter the heck out of it and do lots of water changes.
My suggestion is to start out with a healthy ray in the 6 - 8" range.
