cleaning outside of glass tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I use windex or what evers in my house.

Dont spray the windex on the tank, the toxins will get into the air then into the tank. Windex and acrylic dont mix either. Vinegar and water work the best and use a micro fiber towel to dry it with. No streak shine.

I just net my pleco and stick him on the glass outside the tank....:D

Na not really, I use windex but am careful to not get overspray into the water.

here's a thought when it comes to windex.. ..spray the paper towel, don't spray the tank. *shrug*

:iagree: I agree, if you are that worried, Ill spray the Paper towel in the Kitchen...

I know because I have done it and will do it, after every Water Change.....

i just use distilled water and kleenex.

doesn't the kleenex leave fibers all over though?
