Ya, My midas bucks like **** at my other fish, except the Dovii.
He can't touch the africans.
They're too fast.
He did beat the LIVING **** out of my Red Devil though. :(
Sometimes if they all grow up together they're ok.
SOMETIMES.

You could try to put 2 Senegals and 1 Oscar or 2 Sens and 1 Midas in an 80. Although, many Midas won't tolerate ANY tankmates.

I predict a lot of deaths with the addition of a Midas in your 80

wow beautiful fish very nice
It will depend on how big the oscar is to the midas. If the oscar is bigger you could have 2. The temperment of the fish will determine alot of things so just keep your eye on the new midas. I have had Midas in with oscars and there was no problem.

lol... yea but some crazy replies in it none the less.
just to clear this up though,
the correct answer is NONE.
1. That tank is WAY to small for the all the fish listed
2. Once one of the dominate males got to large it would wipe out the tank.

You need to approximate the eventual size of the oscars as well as the other fish already present and then multiply times the number of toyal inches to find out how many fish inches are left before overwhelming the bio-load of the tank. 1" of fish per gallon.

what do u mean 1 inch of fish per gallon? tht rule does not work, imo its 1 inch per 5 gallons, for cichlids

so I can put a 55 inch fish is a 55 gallon tank...............cool, learn something new everyday
You cant put 2 sens, 2 oscars and a midas in a 80g tank. I would go with 1 midas in the tank or 2 sens and 1 oscars.
