TFD visit and personal experience

Hi all:

Just wanted to let you guys know of my experience at TFD's location. I took a trip to Cleveland to visit some relatives and drove to visit Joe and darren. The place is amazing. If you have been to wholesalers before you know they are not set up to look pretty but rather functional, and TFD is quite good at that. Tons of fishes including several species of stingrays were on display and available for sale. rarely a dead fish or dirty tank. All fishes well fed, no plecos seen with empty bellies, no stingray with bones showing, food in every tank and a variety of oddballs you can't imagine.
Joe and Darren were both incredible hosts and treated me as if I was a long time friend and not a customer. Joe took me and my wife to lunch and we had a great time. Darren took us to his house to see his stingrays and his setup and I felt like I was in the best damn Public Aquarium in the world.
Great people and great hospitality. I will be visiting again for sure.

awesome I might have to see if they would let me check it out. I've never personally deal with them but I've recieved their fish in group orders and was always pleased

sounds like the people I have dealt with over the phone. very nice excelent service I have never had a problem. would love to see this place and more so darrens rays. look forward to my next order

Good to hear ivan, I am actually only about 2 hrs from TFD and would like to take a road trip sometime soon and pick up fish ;) you should have let me know you were headed up there...would have driven up.

Hello, I have been to tfd several times now, twice with a friend who owns Yoder's Pets in Bowling Green, Ohio and once myself now that I breed fish and am working on selling fish as well (Flag City Tropical Fish). I have not had a problem with tfd. Tfd treats me well. I like Joe and Karen, they are nice people and they treat you with hospitality. It seems as if they go out of their way to help their customers, which is a good thing. I can not wait to go back to tfd either this week or within the next two weeks to get another order from them.

I just got back from visiting them as well. Karen and Joe are very nice people. Joe cracked me up when I first saw him. He busted out in a wife beater smoking a cigarette. He was like whatever you want or need just let us know. I will definetly order from them again. I got 4 boxes of fish to bring back with me on my nice 7 hour drive.
