Hi!
I bought 4 silver dats (quadrifasciatus) 2 days ago... do u think they will do well with bichirs?
How much salt shall i add? so all my fishes will bee well in my tank?
plz, help!

I would not keep them with bichirs. Bichirs really do not seem to like a lot of salt. One to 1 and 1/2 table spoon per 20 liters will be ideal.

I don't use any salt with Silver (6") which I've had 18 months now. Hes in with Bichirs and theres no problems. I don't think you need rbackish conditions. I only add routine tonic salt but it certainly isn't saline

I have a 12" silver in fresh. I only add just a little salt. He does just fine and eats anything.

i keep my indos with bichirs, and they seem to be doing well with a little salt.. some guys say silver dats like salt so you could give it a try...
just watch out for reactions from the fish :D:D:D
