Here is the Listing Specs:

I’m selling a huge, beautiful marine aquarium with tons of live rock, invertebrates and tropical fish. This aquarium has been professionally disassembled and is in storage on consignment at an aquarium store in Tacoma, with the fish, rock and invertebrate stock in their aquariums for viewing. Photos of the assembled tank are below, with an inventory list of all that comes with it. This is a beautiful show tank at a steal of a price. I moved into a new house and the tank just doesn’t fit well into my new home. Buying this stuff new would cost over $10,000 (see list below), but I’m letting it all go WITH the fish stock for $3,500. It really is a stunning tank. Feel free to email with questions and thanks for your interest!

Equipment/Live Stock Inventory with (approximate RETAIL prices)

Yeah man I don't have the money for it but I'm thinking about pulling equity out of my house.

well probably not that extreme but.........That would be seriously so sweet.

Yeah I've wanted to do salt for along time. I never have so thats another reason not to buy. I should probably start within my means to see if thats what I want to continue doing.

exactly! if u wanna play with a lil reef setup, do a diy 50gal sump on a lil 10gal tank so you have over 60gal of chemistry but only the 10gal reef is visible. its what i plan to do if i ever get around to trying it out.

I got a 20 gallon marine setup free from a girl at work. I wished I had said NO. I don't really know salt tanks and only have one clown fish in the tank (he came with the tank) I am not brave enough to attempt to put another fish in it. I really would like to sell the setup. My thing is Freshwater.
So, if you don't know much about salt tanks start with a small one to get the hang of it first.

you could air mail that fish to me. what kind of clown?

but if your wanting to do saltwater, Derpeder, start out larger than a 30 but not like 220! if your first tank is too small it is harder to maintain. but the 10gal tank 50gal sump thing is actually a really good idea, but a waste. if your going to have a 60 gallon sump set up, why not do a 100 gal tank?

If you know anything about SW then DO IT!, if you need to learn, then RESEARCH.. makes no sense spending 3500$ if all the corals die, from improper maintenance! Looks like a steal to me! coral alone looks 3500$ new!

Yeah I actually have a 100 gallon tank I purchased and it has a 30 gallon sump with it. I was going to start with that. I'm currently building the stand and waiting for some funds to get started.

But I'm going to do the 100 gallon.

It is a sweet deal but my wife would flip a lid if I even suggested buying it. If I was single. I wouldn't be typing on this computer I'd be looking at it right now.

Just my opinion but if you are uncertain and do not have adequate knowledge on marine set up .. i would not do it.. i would instead try a small salt water tank to see if your truly into it..especially if it means taking a loan out etc.. why burden yourself.. no doubt it is awesome, but you could do it all yourself later if you really want it after you know all about it.. just would not want to see someone get head over there heels into it and find out it is more then they bargained for, i quess the truth is only you know you and how you really feel.. :)

I wanted to do a preditor tank; Lion fish, Eel, etc.....but I think I am going to start with something cleaner. My wife desperately wants clown fish. I'm not necessarily the biggest clown fan but I may start with some clowns and maybe some butterfly's. Not 100% sure yet but I have a little bit of time because I don't have the money right now for the LR and everything else to get going. I will have all the money next month though.

COMMISSION SALES, AND NEXT MONTH IS HUGE!!!!!

totally agree. a bigger tank is easier and safer. And, sW tanks, once settled are easier to take care than FW one's, believe me.
they also have a quality that lack in FW tanks, which is that people don't spend their time changing things and putting their hands in the water in SW tanks. All in all, they're less complicated ( I never had reef tanks, just predator fish only tanks )
