as far as i know there is no way,,males start to change colour at about 4 weeks,, may take a while longer??sorry im not much help,,byw, ive had many frogs and the pyxie is by far the most interesting, get one you will not be disappointed;)

The only problem is that I need a female. I live in a apt so I can't have any croaking.
if it does tern out to be a male, hows about keeping it in a poly box,,the type you transport fish in,just put the lid on of a night,,they are not as vocal as the american,,
