well i just ordered some of these triops. that little set they sell for classrooms. but i wanna make it a little better. i haveread alot of info on them but i wanna see if or what u mfk haft to say about them. like what is the best ph for them. geting them to breed?, tank setups?, foods they like? like i said i have read alot about it and i dont know it jst seems confusing to me. so i hope some of u can help me out, my goal is to rase them breed them and well u know justhave a cool cycle of them going. thanks in advance, here is some links to some info if anyone wants to read.

well i guess ill go oof these web pages then. i only hatch some eggs that way ifi mess something up i can try again. ill post all the things i do on here so if anyone else wants to try and keep these things u can

ya they are lol. i just think there cool. prob bc i was doing a mission a cpl years ago in the desert here in ca and it rain so hard it made a giant pond and i drove into it with my tank and a ton of them got all over me. i had no idea what they where so i triped out and kept one that died and i thoght i made some new discovery lol. but who knows how long they had been out there. i just thoght it was crazy so i wanted to get some

I kept some about ten years ago. Bought them at a classroom/ educational shop. They were pretty cool. Kind of like growing up some giant brine shrimp. I can't remember what I fed them or anything but I know they only lived about 4 - 6 months

Ya All I can tell ya is that we have them locally :) And The sight says max 50 days... The ones here average 90 days... And attain about a centimeter in size!! And look freaking cool!!!

i used to have triops they grow really fast just keep the water at about 80 i just had then in a small bucket with a light over it but you need reverse osmosis water like the one in water botles my dad made me take the light off and the tempature dropped and they died:cry:
