Nice Cariba, now all you need is a couple Piraya, or some Ternz:naughty:

Definatly a cariba:nilly: The silvery shimmer goes all the way down the anal fin, and Ternz are yellow. Keep a watchful eye on that Cariba, they are nasty toward all other fish. Even other Cariba:screwy: They like to pick on Red bellys alot.

You seem to have some very dark pygos in there.... Watch out for aggression, they look to be in breeding mode..
Nice addition !

Tank is 48"x24"x26"
yes , I do need to remove a red or two .
I had thought that my tank was a 150 "Boy was I wrong .
I look up this sight , Easy math to figure out what size tank you have .

And yes the fish were being skiddish and bunching together .

looks like a ternetzi aka southern nattereri to me lack of prominant humeral spot and lack of red and the pectoral fins and anal fin, it has clear eyes though so not a normal red.
here a pic of a 8''+ caribe long term captive i had a few years back, the colour on its belly faded to almost nothing yet the colour on its fins remained. also caribe are in the main very light in colour but not always the case.
even the humeral spot on the ones i had was massively faded yet still prominant.

I figured out that it is a 130 gallon. Not far off from a 150.

No they do not fight . The new guy may be bigger but the reds were their first .
The reds do not take any shi& from new guy/bigger guy .
here is a good shot of new guy .
