Limia can cross to the mollies, endlers and guppies. Here the pictures of these limia hybrids from the famous endler breeder.

In not so distinct future we will see more new color strains of Limia. Adrian have created black limia, orange limia and albino limia (albino molly x limia). he also already created Super Size Tiger Hybrid.

for my thinking those fish are ugly bar the guppy endler cross. they almost look ill.

the molly cross limia thing looks very very similar to a normal silver/green molly cross with black molly. ive got a heap of them. its not a matter so much of being able to cross anythign in poecillia. there are many natural behavioural traits and environmtal that come into play to stop hybrids happening. the further apart the harder and you have to work at beating whats stopping you. i still have never seen a guppy molly cross.

There are already hybrid endlers in hobby anyways so just simple get these hybrids from other aquarist. Oh by way I dont think you should cross pure endler to the guppy as theres not lots of pure endlers around here.

so???
in my opinion there are plenty of breeders raiseing pure endlers.....
i just want to hybridnize them and get some good guppies.
*note* if im not mistaken arnt they still argueing about wether endlers are definently a sperate species from guppies

They are already separated species. There are lots of endler hybrids laying around here, why you need just pure endlers and pure guppies for what? There are too many endler hybrid strains in hobby, so you can just simple buy them.

Sorry just because there are plenty breeders, doesnt mean there are lots of pure endlers.

yet again not trying to be rude but....
just because i want to breed 1 or 2 guppies with 1 or 2 endlers is not gonna ruin the hobby. most of these will end up in unsatisfactury care any way so whats the big deal??? most will die with in weeks if not days of arriveing to the store or in someone who just thinks thier "pretty" and knows nothing about aquaria. I dont want to buy them plain and simple.
deal with it

Still its big deal to the pure stock of endlers, so just buy the hybrids anyways. You will have hard time to find pure stock of endlers. Why you still want to hybridizing a hybrid thats already existed and nothing special about guppy x endler... same thing with black molly x sailfin molly, nothing special about them:screwy:. Majority of these endlers are already hybrids anyways.

We are against hybridizing pure endlers as they are rare and not common these days.

be against it all u want but its not hard for me to get these(and if its not hard to get then i might try it)
2 different pet stores get them around me for CHEAP
im not trying to fight just state my point
theyre there and i might do it, if i want to then i will. Period.
they breed like crazy any ways so me using 1 or 2 for what i want is NO BIG DEAL

Your right not many pure endlers for sale but I imagine he wants them for his own collection and isnt going to sell them as pure.

IMO as someone who keeps guppies but looking into the hybrid after finding about it here I find the endler/guppy cross very pretty.

If hes getting endlers from lfs, then the chances they are already hybrids. Pure stock are hard to hold of, trust me.

Well you're getting endlers from LFS? The chances that endlers at LFS are already hybrids. Its nothing special about hybrid endlers, they are already existed and what doing with your fry if you got too many of them?

ENough said about too many fry, wouldnt u say?

i saw on 11/26 you were in here and you didnt answer any of my questions
is it because u disagree with what i will do with all my extra fry?(he needs to eat too)
can u post pics of pure and some of hybrid endlers?
I am positive they are pure endlers. POSITIVE.

Wow some crazy looking fish.
I was quite sceptical about why you want to cross breed guppies, but I see why from the pics!

Dude, I was check on computer to see if any new private messages as Im on holidays, everyone need a holiday vacation sheesh. Yes im disagree on pure endler cross to the guppy.

Only pure endlers can be found in a private breeder's tanks, not in LFS stores, who the god knows whats in their tank...because it is very diffcult to track down the pure endlers.

On other hand, you can cross these endlers at your lfs to your guppies, simple.

Honestly, the only thing I know that distinguishes Endlers from normal guppies is size. It seems apparent that the hybrids may be larger than the endler parentage.

Other than that, no idea.

Whether you want to or not is up to you. But, if possible, can you post pics of these endlers so that we can ID them better?

endlers and guppies will readily cross, but soon they wil colonize and one of the two original lineages will stop beil as predominant.
And they will have Genetic breakup.
