Anyone have a picture of this fish in their tank? I am quite curious about this fish since it is described as a "black and white/silver" dat. I did quite a few searches and I am not impressed. Btw, I am looking for a real picture of it in someone's aquarium and not just a drawing or a baby picture. Also, how hard are these suckers to come by since the majority have the indo or the ngt.

thanks.

Actually the AT are more common and easier/cheaper to get then any of the dat species, but sorry no pic.

VVateverzYo, what place did you go to? I've been looking for Indos or an NTT and all my lfs has is silvers. :nilly:

If you're looking for silvers and willing to travel, there is a store called Zoo Creatures in Plaistow, NH that has a tank full of 4-5" silver dats. Not sure on the price though.

i was very luck with the ST dixon has a LFS got a batch that were all super stable with deep bodys and perfect stripes and full necklace that was about 1 year ago and i havent seen any since

i brought 4 from that batch and tryed to grow them on but they were to small for what i had planed so i sent 1 that i liked best to a freind of mine as a gigt to grow on but when he gave up fishkeeping i said dixon chould have it as he lives close to the guy i 1st gave it to

i had a very hard time finding large tigers hear in the UK and ended up shipping 3 x 12inch ST from singapore and the shipping was more expencive than the price of the fish and ended up costing close to $2000 and one was dead on arival so i would say big tigers dont travel well and i would ever ship any tiger bigger than 8inch again

when ever i start a new project i keep going until im done :D

i have 1 x 12inch ST that is going soon because it has a forked stripes and im not to fond of forkys but it has great color

the whitish tiger i have is not 100% stable but it is sort of white and i have seen white ST at larger sizes before
