I won some 1" juvies at an auction this past Saturday, and I swear they are Uro's based on the tail spot. The guy claimed that he had a breeding pair from Jeff Rapp's, I hope this is true but it concerns me a little when they spelled Festae, Festa's.......

uros do get sold as red terrors a lot and vice versa.
I have seen them listed on trade stock lists as red terror/uropthalmus.
Ultimately the red terror is better looking in my opinion and a bit more aggressive.

Uro's get sold as red terrors all the time, not so much vice versa. In fact, I NEVER see "uro's" correctly labeled at stores. "Red Terror" is a "catchall" term for both fish.
Personally, not to derail, I find Uro's much more attractive. I love the pinks, and the bold contrast on the Uros. But both are gorgeous fish, and yes, both are super aggressive.

He claimed Festae's or as how he spelled it Festa's..... I emailed him to see if he could send a photo of the parental units w/out a reply......

Did it even occur to you that he could very easily send you a picture of a festae pair, but not the true parents....
