Dan I am over in California for 5 weeks with work. Been to a couple of petshops but not much variation. Only thing that was very cool was a cowfish which was a 13" sleeper goby with the same colouration as a pseudo fowleri. Only £20!!
Too early for the Rattlesnakes so havent caught any yet. The Condors and Turkey Vultures are awesome though.
Does anyone know what indigenous fish are near here (Paso Robles/Camp Roberts on Route 101) as I havent seen anything yet.
Dan do you still have the ranius and the mean characins left??

Hi,
I went to the one on the main road in Paso Robles where the big goby was and then the one near chillis and Officemax off route 46

oh, thats a Petco. Nothing ever interesting in there. I am really surprised they had a big goby. If you are in Paso get off on spring there is a store called Pet Dept. they are O.k, really expensive and I hate the owner (I worked there for a while). A better one is in Atascadero, it is off the San Anselmo exit, next to K-mart.

Yes similar I think. In the UK it comes in a green box with an ammonite on the front. I use for my reef tanks and Tigrinus. It is brilliant for removing contaminants from the system and not releasing it back into the tank

Is this the poly you are looking for?
Yeah it is around. Great stuff!!
All Star has it

It is different packaging but from what it says on the front i reckon it is probably the same. When it is full does it release the contaminants back into the system or not? How much and where can you get it around here Kory?

I think it is about 11.00 for 9x22cm piece. I can grab them for you at wholesale price if you lilke wich is half that.
All Star Pets in Atascadero has it in stock at all times.
No it holds in all contaminants

Dan, Met up with Kory yesterday. top bloke and mad as a hatter like you and me. He had a couple of interesting fish in his store and i wonder if they appear on your lists.
One is a Butis Butis that I have never seen before and is real cool. The others are the Exoden which are like smaller versions of my Oligosarcus sp.cf.hepsedus. He had them in a shoal and they looked well good.

I just came upon my first rattler this year yesterday. They are coming out of hibernation right now. I used to keep them for years. If you are looking, I can put you on the snakes. Im in Laguna Beach, south of your location. PM me if interested.
