South American Arowana for me although I have hatched out baby Aussie lungfish (very cute) and bred some of the polypterus and Black Ghost Knifes.
I would love to breed some A. gigas one day.

only ones i have been around are silver aros, sen birchirs, african knife fish, clown knifefish, and I saw some gars at the petstore lol
african knifefish I had in the past was awesome and the one I just got now seems to be just as cool... but the two sens I got may be even better :D

I would say polypterus& lungs r= i say both because of their mystic and their former rank of the missing link.
Oh and their abilty to go dormante like some amphibians. BOTH ARE FISH FIT TO RULE!!!
No dis to gars but why them? The only gars i find intresting are the alligator gars
Please put me up on why gars are so cool. Again no dis to gars or those who like them id just like to know what makes them interesting. The scale scutes are cool and the teeth but thats it for me. Call me shallow but lungs and polys are a much finer fish.
