Now 11 weeks since I got them, biggest one now 11.5" v 7" when I got them, starting to lose juvenile colouration and getting more aggressive at feeding time and with each other. Well the mid-size and smallest one at least, they don't mess with the biggest of the three.

Beautiful!:headbang2 thanks for sharing and yes keep us updated. Why no feeders? Yes I understand about parasites...but for predators such as them, I never had any problems.

And you have no idea what you are missing:eek: ...lol:D well you would witness greater aggressiveness. I understand you are playing safe, the Giant Snakeheads I had never took any of your Giant Snakeheads' diet, you have trained them well. My Florida Gar who I thought would never touch anything more than feeder fish has miraculously been eating crickets and mealworms since yesterday, which is awesome! because he needs varieties of diet.

Your G.Snakehead has great colouration, look at that body pattern upon the yellowish / golden overall colouration. BEAUTY! Thanks again!

You have me confused with someone else. At no time have I thrown in 50 feeders, in fact they only had feeders for the first 3 days when I got them to kick-start feeding. Never had one since, only the diet outlined above. Did Phendox not submit that thread?

ahh.. just a mid size tank.. :) my dream tank is 300gallon tank, you also can sleep inside if you want.. haha :ROFL:
