I've been thinking of getting a couple of Scats to accompany my Bala Shark. I read that the juveniles tolerate fresh water fine but the adults should be kept in brackish or salt water.
I'm wondering how true this is? Has anyone kept adult Scats in freshwater without a problem? I'm not sure how much salt my Bala Shark can tolerate( I add some salt to my freshwater tank but I wouldnt consider it brackish)
I also like to keep some plants in the tank which I dont think will tolerate high salt levels. :(
