I was wonderign if anyone here has ever seen one of these- they are like giant hermit crabs, they live off of cocunuts and they are found in the South Pacific. Anyone?

I have never seen them for sale as pets but they are shipped live all over asia as food, there are several companies that handle them in the 2-3 kilo range including wholistix natural products out of Australia (they get theirs from Papau). Any one who does imports of live rock from Samoa or Fiji or even Tahiti might be able to get you one. they get friggin big and can clip a finger right off.
