WHIPERS!

anyone ever kept any whipers? (striped &white bass hybrid)
is so, what size tank did u keep them in, what temp, water currents, and cover (or de'cor).

theres a few lakes and the colorado river nearby that has them. i caught a few while netting shad, they were about 3" long, and i let them go without thinking of my aquarium. :screwy:

also, do they need to be in pairs or a small skool, or can they be kept alone, not that id only want ONE!

we have them here in texas as well. they would do better in a school thats the way they get around the lakes.

if you want to keep them till they die of old age you need a really big aquarium like at bass pro shops or you could just eat them when they get big but not if you used medication in that tank. please nev er let them go back into the lake.
