I've seen in one of my LFS a 5inch jardini arowana, would it be ok in a 48"l,30"h,24"w? With a pair of golden severums? I thought that with it being quite deep they wouldn't have their own area. Please help. I'd love a jardini even if it has to be kept on it's own. I saw it for £38 is this a good price.

It would either be an arow or a trio of jaguar cichlids.

if you want the jardini get it
a trio of jaguars might kill the severum also

i bought my Jardini for $44USD ...kinda steep but, if you love the fish like me then any price is a good price. ;)

you'd be able to get away with one jaugar in there, at absolute most 2, not 3, and the length of the tank is to small to house a jardini in for life imo. the width is minimum, and the height is pointlessy high. do something else. remeber jardinis, get to 24", and are a stiff fish, i wouldn't do jardini in anything below a 6'x2' footprint.
