I debated for months about what to put in the 180. I thought about everything from a shoal of Pygos to a Fahaka puffer before deciding on this guy. I was afraid I'd regret having a single fish in the 180 but so far I don't (even though he's only 5 inches!) I am anxious to grow this cat out!!

I have mine in a 150 gallon, with no regrats. Started him in a 20gal. then moved to a 55gal. Now the 150 gallon, think that should be good. Wish I could see you picture, but new to this site so I need to leave more post before I will be able to see.

GREAT looking Tig you have there Tigrinus!! You should be proud. What do you feed him? I am thinking shrimp, worms, chunks of fish, etc?? Right now, mine is so small I'm only feeding Krill, but as soon as he gets a little bigger I want to add other stuff.

Just raw shrimp from the grocery store. He loves it. He might eat color bits pellets too if any are left over from the silver dollars.

Yeah..this is about one of the few fishes that im willing to grow out at this point.
They grow before your eyes and the way the streamers grow back is a sight to behold.. I got mine only 2 months ago theres already a lot of developments..
