Yea some of the prices advertised are in the thousands. big market here for them though as they sell quickly. my concern would be spending so much money on them and them being unhealthy or short-lived because of a condition they might have related to there physical deformity.
why is that sad? I think its pretty crazy
What's the purpose, not like they get the size of paroons, arows or other xtra long/size fishes?

ehhhhh I gotta say I'm not a fan of those...
similar to King Arrowana's which are short bodied and sells for big $$$$....each to their own...I prefer the norm! :-)

look like cross breed parrot fish / datnoid... pretty interesting... Yea, I bet they would sell a grip... It would be nice to have a short body aro, short body datnoid, and a short body fei feng in a tank...

How is this done?? Its not like they wrap the fish in ligatures to stunt its growth...anyone know?

i think the japanese are into these kind of things. ive heard they kept cats bottled or boxed and purposely stunt the cats growth. it makes them unique and "cute."
