I simply adore the 4ft tank with the Altums, Rams, and the tetras.. I also loved your 23 inch Pleco, largest I've heard of.

I also have a Common Pleco, which is gonna replace a 14 inch Pleco I used to have, and the 5" Pleco is growing out in my 20g.. But Nice tank, I just simply love those tanks.

First of all, very cool tank!!

Second, you say your running 2 rainbow lifegard FBF right? So, any good? What type do you use, the FB 300's? And what pump do you have on them?

Thanks,

Loubard

hi loubard! yeah the rainbow lifegard are cool FBFs..definitely better than the OTTO FBF i used b4...i am using the biggest,,FB900..running both using 1 OTTO2000 pump with sponge filter attachments...i would say very easy to setup and use..juz make sure u run them with a pump that has good mechanical sponge filtration...

Nice, I'am gunna run 3 FB300 for my 200 gallon tank, with 4 P. bichir lapradei and 4 Sorubim lima. Do you think that would be sufficient enough?
It is gonna be mechanical filtered first and then go in to seperated pumps for the FBF.

wow 3 eh!? i reckon should be more than enough! :D
remember to keep your water well oxygenated...FBFs are supposed to consume oxygen more quickly than other filters due to their efficiency
