hey folks, i'm from Trinidad, West Indies. i've realized that we have quite a few species of tetra here, and i don,t think that some of them have been recognized. i'll try to get some pics.

look forward to it. tetras may not be 'monsters' per se but i still enjoy them, either as feeders or just little fish on their own.
doubt i could id any new specimens tho

Send any ? spec. to Smithsonian, if it is new you get to name it.

my digi-cam fell into a river back here. i'm trying to get a new one. it's just that technology is soo damn expensive in Trinidad. but don't worry i'll get those pictures...........

I am always losing cameras,glasses, hats, etc into lakes anr rivers. They almost always have straps but I just don't seem to learn. Last year alone I lost 2 cameras and 3 pairs of glasses that way.
