My friend has 3 of these, but one seems to swim rather oddly. Its almost always swimming at a 45% angle or at a 90% angle. he thinks that it might have some disease, I think it has some internal problem that it was born with.

Any thoughts?

could possible be a swim bladder issue... what are you feeding him and what type of water are they in? Fresh, brack, salt?

Thats a feeling I had. My friend feeds his fish a combo or Freeze Dreid Plankton an Pellet food I believe the pellets are Tetra brand. Hes got them in a Brackish tank, not sure about the salt content.
