Mbu Puffers rock. We had one at our shop in Berkeley. It was just over two ft. We sold him though. Too bad, it was fun watching him eat crayfish.

I have one of these little fellows(I named him seymore), it's about 4 inches long. This one is lazier than any of the puffers I have had before, he just kind of lays around until I feed him. He likes krill and pieces of shrimp. When I first got him he was very shy and I had difficulty getting him to eat anything. I started him on clams and muscles. After about a month he finally started to eat other things. This reluctance to feed is contrary to most other puffers I have kept. they are all greedy messy eaters. In addition to the mbu I also have a 7" guinea fowl puffer that is like a dog following me around trying to get me to feed it and I have a porcupine puffer about 6" named bumble.

4 inch for $65 is a damm good price for MBU's. The are hard to find puffers in the hobby because they grow too large for LFS to keep one around especially aggressive behavior. If i have a 100 gal tank i would buy it but i already have one too many tanks in the house the lady wouldnt appreciate too much..heh.

Hope you guys will get the Irrubesco soon..i will definately buy a few. Especially juveniles!!! Please keep me posted on your PUffer stock!!!

That's a great price! I've always seen them for $100 at 5" I also hear that they have the best personality of all the Puffers.

I dont know if MBU have the best personality never have I own one but in general all puffers have a very intersting personality. Believe me i have kept 5 different types of puffer before and counting

If you're not lucky, then you have a couple hundred dollars worth of puffer snacks.

I don't know why a 220 would be suitable, this fish gets over 2 Feet long.
