Does the paint just adhere to the acrylic or are you rough sanding it, what's the process and what paint are you using. Looks awesome. PM'd someone about it once because it looked so good. I used the stick on the back type of black back ground but thats it, doesn't look as smooth.

Also, what the hell are you guys cleaning the acrylic with when you do your water changes that cleans the inside but doesn't scratch?

i just use a can a spray paint...seems to work well just do a layer at a time..and 7 layers is good..they make a magnetic cleaner for acrylic, as well as a special razor for acrylic

i use a can of spraypaint to, the kind that goes on glass, with the satin like finish.

Wow Thats a GREAT idea I never even thought of that! good thinking guys

Use spray paint in very thin coats, that do NOT cover the entire back at once. Do not use Krylon fusions if you want to have the choice and ability to remove the paint at some time. Do not use Krylon H2O paint as it is water soluble, and will come off over time. You can use flat to gloss for a finish, but inside the tank it will still look glossy. Flat paint will stick better than the gloss paint.
