Liz, he's such a darling. Love those extra spots near his pectoral fins! Does he live alone in the huge tank?

he is in a 75gal at present, he won't go into the big tank until he is alot bigger.. he is alone though for the time being.. maybe thats why i have his undivided attention:D Thanks !!!!:D

It won't be long so do not rush it:D They really grow fast.. 5 inches to almost 10 inches in just a few months:D :D

do clown knives tend to be aggressive towards tankmates? so far mine is the coolest most relaxed fish! i hope he stays this way? i think you said yours is by itself? yours really seems cool too! they just seem like a great fish to keep.

I think they are great with tank mates that are too big for their mouth..{CK have a huge mouth} i also think they can get shy and not come out much if they feel something is threatening them.. mine is alone .. before he goes in with the big guys i will make sure he is big enough.. and also i do not plan to keep him alone now.. but instead want him to get use to sharing a tank.. i am just not sure who to put with him:grinno: i never want to harm or lose any fish.. so i am just being careful who i choose..:grinno:

I have two bichirs ready to move out of their house into the bigger tank..thank you very much for your response ..that frees up another tank that we can use for breeding etc.. yippee perfect.. what about a rope fish..could he go as well....:D :D :D

Thank you.. he is almost 10 inches.. the bichirs will be perfect to put with him and it will give me another open little tank.. but i am going to wait another month.. just to get the bichirs a little bigger..:D
