Need help with oscar

I just brought a 1inch red oscar, i have it in a 10gal tank that it is in now. I want to know how i can get it to grow big so i can place it in a 55gal ta?nk

water changes every other day and feed a varied diet.

He'll be too big for the 10 in a month or 2

I skipped some basics and assumed that the tank is cycled and everything else. am I correct in thinking that?

feed him nutritious pellets like hikari, keep the water clean,expose him to sunlight at least 30min/day if possible..

blood worms are great also mysis shrimp

thats what got my oscar from half inch to about 5 inches in three months
