Hello out there, I am new to having fish and have just aquired my first fish. It's a 20" silver arowana. I will be posting losts of questions and I hope all you experts can help me keep him alive for a long time. I work 80 hours a week so I don't have much time to be on the internet but I am sure that it will be worth it. Thanks in advance to all who keep the large breeds of fish alive and I will talk to you all later. Peace.

120 GALLON FOR NOW HOPEFULLY GETTING A 300 GALLON IN THE FUTURE AS I THINK 120 IS ALREADY TO SMALL. I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE DEEPER SO THAT HE CAN TURN AROUND EASIER.

YEAH WORK SUCKS BUT OUT HERE IN HAWAII IT IS EXPENSIVE AND YOU GOTTA DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SURVIVE BUT AFTER A LONG DAY OF WORK IT IS GOOD TO COME HOME AND WATCH MY FISH SWIM AROUND FOR A BIT. IT IS VERY RELAXING.

WELL I PURCHASED THE FISH FROM A FRIEND WHO COULD NOT TAKE CARE OF IT ANYMORE. HE WOULD NOT SELL IT TO ANYONE AND WAS JUST GOING TO LET IT DIE. WHEN I FOUND THIS OUT I ASKED HIM TO SELL IT TO ME AND KEPT ASKING UNTILL HE AGREED. I COULD NOT LET SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FISH GO DOWN FOR NO REASON. I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE TO UPKEEP BUT I LOVE IT SO FAR.

right now I have the tank in my garage. my neighbors think I'm crazy because they don't even have a set up like this in their house.
