Anyone here keep seahorses? What species? And what do you use for filtration, other than live rock?

I care for hundred's of seahorses every year and in my personal collection i have 20. They are lined seahorses. In the tank i use toga branch LR and for filtration using spunge filter's are the best or you can use a skilter they work very well also (it's great it's a filter and a pro skimmer in one). Do you keep seahorses?

I know this is the "saltwater/brackish" section, but is there such thing as a freshwater "sea"horse?
Hiya DNordbak, Welcome to MFK. I did a search of a couple sources including fishbase and while I found several brackish seahorses I fpund no truly fresh water ones thousgh there is a nice fresh water pipefish from India thru Indonesia area named Ichthyocmpus carce that gets about 6" long, the one in the pic was caught in Cambodia

wow, what service! well thanks for checking for me. I was hoping they'd somewhat look like the SW seahorses, and be readily available
There are several that adapt well to lightly brackish, like moolies and archers, and they really look like seahorses.
