Hello evryone I'm still sort of new to the forum, so I figured I'd share some pics of my Dats. I have a 10"er and a 5"er both pulchers and they share a 150 with a Pbass mono, 12" Arrowana, 7" Dorado, and a 5" S. Eigenmanni(divided from other fish). I've had them for about 4 months now, and the little dat was only about 3"-4" when I first got it. Heres some pics of my pride and joys:headbang2

the 1st one looks nice it looks like it has indo body stripes and pulcher tail stripes nice :D

Yeah, it looks like one of those split-bar pulchers from Vietnam that we were seeing a lot of in the U.S. about 2 years ago. Strange, but still a pulcher, IMO. Indos don't come from the Mekong and always have three tail stripes.

that's what i was told when i bought him/her, but how can you tell female and male apart? here's apic of his other side.

I'm not aware of any external morphological differences between males and females of any of the five Datnioides species.
