Hey, my 4" Female RD breeds once a month with a Blood parrot that is 6 or 7". I wasn't too fond of the RD before, but now she is taking shape, thickening, and getting a cooler head. Now i want to give her a good mate that is fertile. I don't know if i want a male RD. Something more manageable. Less chance of killing her if it dosent work.
Camera is missing. i will find it and get you pics. usually she would put them somewhere weird and i couldn't take pics, and i would get cused out by people telling me that the rd is to young and things like that. Right now the eggs are front and center. They are on top of tbhe largest cave, and the parrot is inthe cave. I can prob. get them all in one shot.

all of the larger species, that would be able to breed with her, will probably have about the same temperament as a RD. some might be a little less, but all will show aggression. if you want to breed for personal uses then u could try almost anything. "Trimac, FH, Synspilum, Texas, JD, Midas, Mang" for me personally i would shoot for a male texas. they seem to be a little more docile towards new "potential" mates. also a JD would be about the same. however if your wanting to sale, trade to LFS or anything like that. i would recommend a male RD.
