Anyone out there have a favorite beefheart recipe to share with a frustrated knife owner whose clown is obsessed with eating algae wafers instead of anything else?
I want to tempt him with something tasty, either that or give up and get the message that he is turning into a vegetarian!

Mine started off Finiky but now will eat most anything thats placed in front of him. Usually a day or two of starving will get them to eat anything. but Id wait for mossongrass's opinion

He has been eating feeders for the last 5 months with much gusto, now the last of them are growing big while he waits paitently for me to put in the algae wafers!

Also try with some frozen blood worms, and i have also heard about letting them go a few days without eatting and then giving them what you want them to eat

my clown knife only eats pellets, though it was pretty kool at first. but i've been trying to get him to go after feeders but so far he hasn't taken to them. when i got him he was around 4in, that was 3 weeks ago, he's now around 6in. growing faster then my RTGG's even. i'd like a good beef heart recipe too, i've never tried it before and would like to give it a shot. i've googled some recipies, but i'd like one the an MFK'er recommends.
