I love the yellow on the body. Both female and male have pink/red belly during breeding.

This is an aggressive little guy and it is killing off my other prized cichlids in a growout tank.

They all look the same except that Tepic is white while Presidio is more on the green side when the are full grown.

I'm drooling over the beani & I'm not even a real fan of their coloration just how hard they are to find. Hope you breed them.

The beani is still shy of people except feeding time. Other cichlids make good dither fish for him.

Lovin the fish Gary....awesome shots of your beani...:D Is he your only one though? Or are you holdin out? Still a little irked that you sold your lent...haha....but at least it went to someone who will def. take great care of it...;). Do you still have the strigata though? Or is there a new pike movin in? :D
