Unfortunately most of us won't consider that an incredible fish.

Ask Au Dong for some of HIS pictures and you'll see :)

word rare is uncommon. as you said does bonsai flower horn are rare
hmmmp. well actually they are rare but seems like bonsai FH are started to have a big family. time by time, this bonsai fh turns to become not rare.

Thanks for clarifying for me - you mean abnormal... I am sure there are quite a few out there.

Yeah deformity's and fish that should have been culled just don't go over and fly well here in the U.S. like the do in other country's. I would have culled it they do nothing for me.

LIKE THIS FLOWER HORN:

I hope it's taken care of. Who cares if it's ugly to others as long as you like it and take care of it.

I personally don't like it, but Im not the owner so it doesnt matter.

So where is this fish now? Is this the most recent picture? Thanks for sharing.

Actually no one owns it but the company does. there's a genetically problem on it. it's his birthmark... with my team we're trying to get some DNA on it and try to discover whats happened.

i think the dorsal and spine was intentionally deformed to give a false sense of a bigger head. sorry, i dont like it

My 2 cents - you don't need to spend a lot of time, money, and research on figuring out what happened to the fish.

Simply CULL when they are babies. If one adult pair keeps throwing a lot of deformed babies, then take those adults out of the breeding population. Problem solved.

obviously all of us don't want to waste money just to determine the deformed fishes but intentionally we don't need money for this process we just take this deformed fish to our Lab. fish sientist can do that.

I don't understand.... if you SEE a deformity, that's .. all, right? What exactly does your "lab / scientist" do?

i dont understand why people dont like fish like that, if i had a piranha that looked abnormal id consider myself lucky, jude can you clear this up for me, why do people not like fish ike this? looks good to me... maybe i dont know but i thought different was good...just me though, FH are 3 diff fish so anyone who doesnt like hybrods why would you like FH and if you get something odd why wouldnt it be better, who else would have the fish ike you do, maybe i just dont get it..

Red texas are FHs...there's no "set" combination that makes it an FH.

A Red Texas is not a FH it is a Blood Parrot x Texas. A FH is a Trimac x Midas.

to me. that fish would be a keeper. its just personal views. abnormal can be anything. i like disformed fish. i dont know exactly why but it catches my eyes. abnormal can be anything from a broken back like that flowerhorn to a platinum fish.

Lol, fh are not a mix of two different species of fish, only some strains have trimac blood in them. Fh are the result of years of crossbreeding different large cichlids such as viejas, rt, some trimacs, texas, and other species. There is no "This fh is part trimac and part texas." Lol, funny people. XD

Not 100 % of the time you can make a red texas x any red coloured fish.
