What fish is good with triggerfish?

other aggressive fishes, large wrasses, lionfish, large tangs do well even though they are laid back. there are lots of options.
actually lions make a poor choice for trigger tanks mates as their fins are usually nipped at (with ill-effect to both fish)
but i agree, pretty much anything that won't get it's @$$ handed to it can be with a trigger
in addition to the list above large angels, butter flies, batfish (fully grown) and most basses

Other important question that has not been asked, what species or trigger, what size tank, and what size trigger?
A 2" Niger or even a Clown can go with lots of fish, but a 12" Clown can kill an entire tank out. Other BAD triggers (Undulated, Black Hawaiin) these will not do well with any other fish in a small/med tank.
So you need to do some homework. Also is this reef (shrimp, crabs, snails)? If so that limits you even more.
