Dont know what there doing an if they will stop, but i know the red devil is a male an i think the parrots a female. they been lip locking an dancing around an around. heres some pics

there just dancing now no locking, but the red devil is giving up. will put up there dance give me a sec, im blonde kinda slow.

so you know that your parrot cichlid is half red devil don't you? so would you keep two red devils in the same tank that you are not sure of their sex? why do you think that the parrot cichlid is a female? have you seen her lay eggs... you are taking a risk and if they are just dancing maybe you are right maybe you do have a pair and in that case get ready for fifty or so red devils... ha ha ha ha just what everybody needs huh?

if they do breed then you might consider rehousing the pike and oscar. breeding red devils can be downright psychotic and no other tankmates (including the mate) are safe.
they do definitely look like they're doing a breeding dance though.
