this was discussed elsewhere recently about who has the biggest ST's in the UK and i thought i would check who had got the biggest datnoid on MFK.
it can be any type of datnoid and we need pics if possible.
i have a 14.5'' ST
Crap, that's big. My thinbar is growing, but only about 5" so far.

Ivan (alfon76) has a 18 inch widebar in his 1000g. But hes in the US so i dont know about the UK.

heres a couple of pics, the ST looks like 14'' on the tape but is is actually set back around 2-3'' from the glass so its really around 14.5.

How big was that MONSTER in an asian tiny cube type tank posted a while ago?
My largest dat is only a 12" widebar. Next in line is my 11" NGT.

I believe RockyGoldy has a few Pulchers that are now 20"+ :drool:
I would guestimate the one from cube is 18-22"

Mine are all tiny in comparison. Biggest I have is a NGT at 3.5". You guys all kick major ass and I am so envious. How long have you grown all your monsters to size? 18" = 7 years maybe? Let us know along with the size of your tigers!

makes me wish i'd kept my 6"-7" s/t but i got rid of him as my oscars kept beating him up! Does anyone think it's possible to keep dats with oscars at all? maybe if i'd done things different,oh well will have to wait 'till my new tank is set up!

his 1000g is 10 feet long, 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall. The widebar in the pics is 18 inches long, and 9 inches in height. Also the indo in the last pic is 18 inches long as well.

I think my remaining(my precious) wide bar is around 17'' minimum,FNFB as well,bright yellow,and always stable,currently living with few aros in a 10 ft tank.(i regretted selling away other wide bar when i decided to do a aro comm tank):(
