I just got him at my lfs 4 or 5 days ago. he's in my 180g with
1 silver arrowana
2 x oscars
2 x motoro ray
and 1 xxxl Bala shark
hes only eating live food but he has been putting thawed mysis shrimp in his mouth and im not sure yet if hes spitting it all out or just some. he is about 16" right now and everyone is getting along well in the tank.

That is one hungry fire eel. Stuff him up with some night crawlers
sweet eel. I've been putting in squid tentacles for my other fish but the fire eel is gobbling them up like worms. Great looking motoro too.

lovely eel,mine is about the same length but alot fatter as he eats anything small enough to fit in his mouth,he even bites me looking for food! But obviously doesn't hurt!

The eel is 17-19" long. the reason he is so thin is cause i havent even had him a week. in a few weeks i will have more pics and im sure he'll look more like a pork chop by then.

Awesome looking eel! I bet he loves that huge tank and it's decor. Plants and fine sand are ideal tank decorations for them. Power feed that kid and make him into a beefcake
