will my plecos eat cucumber? I just always have it around the house and would hate to have to buy zucchini which I will never eat just them... you know what I am saying?

depends on what plecos u'r talking abt..plecos like panaques, cochliodons, ancistrus and commons of cos will take cucumbers readily...
carnivores like pseudacanthicus most prob will not touch them..

That Adonis pleco will eat just about everything.. you should try potatoes too..

My 7" adonis eats bloodworms, krill pellets, and shrimp pellets.. Occasionally a veggie wafer, but it was my understanding the adonis plecos are more of a meat eater..

HBH just put out a new 'soft & moist' sinking krill pellet, all my bottom dwellers absolutely love them..

although zucchini/cucumbers and potatoes are good food, but they foul up the water pretty easily..just watch your water there if u feed those often...best is to feed right before water change..
