oh you are very observing.. yes he is dented in on top ..nothing missing,never injured ..should have been culled but we bought him many years ago to save him.. he is 7 now so did not effect him..and of course we do not breed with him..

I am sorry to hear about yours.. :( Big Daddy is about 6 inches long and wide {quessing} i never really measured him but he is my biggest male and best breeder.

Gold female looking over newly hatched fry. The adults like to lay their eggs on a piece of slate and transfer them to the gnarly fake plant in the pic. Had to laugh because the shredded plant makes the fish look like a mad composer.

Here's my angels breeding. The babies were raised on frozen brine shrimp, which I was told on the breeding forum would result in all the fry dying, so I just wanted to show some pictures to encourage anybody who has breeding angels and doesn't think they can raise the fry.

I never have more than two or three angels at a time because I'm far too picky when it comes to body shape. I don't really LOVE the color on the one I have now *or lack there of* but his finnage is wonderful, and his body is nice and small with no bump on his head, so he came home with me :) I swear I can go to every LFS I know of every time they get a shipment for a month, and I will probably only be able to find one I like, if that. Leads to not enough angels, ALL the time lol

a little place called BB Fish and Pets, on FM 1960 (Its near Houston). He doesnt always have angels, but when he does, they are all very healthy, and inexpensive (2.99, i think :) )

i really like these pics, i'll be posting up some too later on, currently i have 2 angels and they are a pair, with no successful breeding yet.. sadly they got into the habbit of eating their fry, trying to figure something out to have them survive, i want to get some albino angels too and start breeding, maybe even some koi angels =)

This site has the best attachment program around. I suggest you put your photos in "my pictures" if you're using windows, write your text in "reply to thread" box here, scroll down to "Additional Options" where it says Attach Files, click on the "Manage Attachments" box and click the browse column. It should take you to My documents or My Pictures. Click on your pics, click "open" and it should put it in the column for you. Then you click upload, then submit reply after you're done uploading. Easiest forum around. Afterthought: check to see if your pics are jpg or whatever, you can find out which ones will load here on the Additional Options/ Attach Files box.

A couple of my angels from an old setup/tank. You can see I had to tease them with food to get these pics...TeeHee! These two had lots of little babies, and I currently have 2 babies from them in my 90G. These have passed...I cried. Pics of current angels to come!
