Look like Orinos to me! Here is a pic of when I got them around 2-2.5" and what they are as of 6/3/07. Theyve already grown since then too! Good luck with selling them MA. Theyre awesome fish to own! BUMP!

rico she means the pikes ;) we will get em up this week, i need a positive ID sent as lepidota but someone told me lepidota and saxtilis is the same fish, so now im lost, the small ones have thick black stripe on the sides and larger ones have broken pattern like my other saxtilis i had previously. any comments?

Can't really ID pikes unless you have a pictures...;).

Crenicichla saxatilis and Crenicichla lepodita are DIFFERENT pikes...but they are both from the same group...Saxatilis. Gettin true saxatilis and true lepodita is annoyingly rare though. Seems you generally get either sveni, lucius or the like...as they are often labeled as saxatilis...;). Hope that helps!!

i knew that was coming lol, my shop is over an hour away, due to i live in a northern state but for some reason they think piranha can live in our frozen waters in winter months, hmmm. im also a chef thursday-sunday nights so hard for me to get up there, i only have one helper that feeds and he doesnt take pics, so i got up couple times a week to do maintance and feedings and shipping of course, i wont be back there till wednesday of this week, i purge my fish sunday through wednesday for shipping reasons of course :)

Aye, that will definately help!! :D Pikes are so much fun, tis a pity not more people are into them...:(. I guess its better for those of us that are though, cuz its hard enough to get them as is...lol.

What are you expectin on that peruvian shipment? :D Cincta? :D

this week coming: red wolf fish stingrays piranha and saber tooth tetras (payara red tails)

i told you jude i can get em but i buy by the box. if you want multiple like the lungs i always got you no problem, if you want large ones and multiple ones i can get em also, but i buy by the box.

Purchsed 11 baby Caribes from Nathan and Rico today.
Wow, what a difference between Caribes and regular RBPs.
Caribes are so much more active and not skittish like regular RBPs.
I am so glad that I finally own Caribes. Great price and service.

goto a lfs and buy used or bring a truck down and ill get you one on order from my supplier, will beat any price out there ;)
