those pics were taken injuly and aug. some are a lil bigger now and you can see the difference from a festae shape and a texas shape.

those are some bad ass fish. i love festeas and i have always liked the color in the tex. nice fish! if you ever come down to south fl you gotta bring me one!

might have a fresh spawing soon, if I can get another tank or or somethin setup. My male, the last pic, is tight with my female festae and have cleared out a space in my 150. So I would guess it would show more festae this go-round. The male also is chillin with a female mix til the festae runs her away.
so maybe I need 2 setups :(

do you have pics of the parents because I'm starting to agree with PP that it looks a bit more like a uro cross instead of festae cross. should be very interesting fish once they put on some more size and color. :thumbsup:
