A few weeks ago i went to Chester Zoo, Uk Mfk'ers will know where i mean and they had lots of fish and where successfully breeding Torpedo barbs which sell in the LFS for £20 for a two inch fish. There were lots of lungs and some big asian aros. Well you'll see from the pics, (which will be up shortly.)

There was also a lot of Brackish and mariene tanks but my camera ran out of batteries.

I am very interested in breeding the red line torpedo barbs. Next time you visit, can you get all scraps of info you can? If hormone induced, please ask for dosage strengths, resolving times, how they unsticky eggs to hatch etc etc. I was thinking I would have to go to Asia to get this first hand so this info would be really appreciated!!

I don't think that they enduced it, they had about 30 adults in the tank and plenty of rocks and plants.

It's a really good day out, they have got loads of animals and a huge pond with RTC, aros Rays etc... and lots of other animals.
