Most of the time thats a precaution to keep a very active jumper from hurting itself easily against the top of the tank. Nice red by the way.

Thanks mate...Tankmates are 5 large clown loaches. Ill probably add something soon to keep him busy.

Its just a precaution because he is a jumper. The background on the tank also has a gap on the top...I dont want him jumping in between the background and the back of the tank! :eek:
