PLEASE HELP THEY HAVE LAID EGGS Hypselecara temporalis (Chocolate Cichlid)

My chocolates have laid eggs and now the male is protecting the eggs and the female is hidding under a rock. :WHOA: They have been fighting alot and now the male is pretty bet up. :screwy: Should i take the rock with the eggs out or let them take care of them. There are some dead eggs in the batch sould i do something about them or what i am new to these cichlids i have had them about two weeks they are full grown.

Please Help
 
Hmm . . . is the female trying to eat the eggs and the male is keeping her away? Do you have anything else in there? Try adding a few male convicts so that the male will focus on fighting those instead of terrorizing the female, so that the bond can be strengthened. Do you have dithers in the tank?
