This was labelled as a "red" front...
What species of front is it? Burundi?

Ive seen these fronts before and Ive heard there reddish color is the result of inbreeding

I've seen that before. As prm noted, it could be a result of inbreeding or being fed with color enhancing feeds.

if it was fed color enhancing feeds wldnt the blue be more... purplish?

I've heard some LFS will feed it with flowerhorn feeds, making the blue frontosa reddish in color. Of course, this was only hearsay. :D

entirely possible...
There are alot of LFS tt care more abt profits than customers and stock.

looks to be more of a "Yellow Dorsal" front.
look at its dorsal fin in the pic.
a Karilani Yellow Dorsal i belive
