Hi all, often wondered whether in the uk there is the same opportunities in this country for the small specialist fish mail order companies as there appears to be in the states.
Are we served well enough by general retailers or is there a market?
Have often thought about setting something up and would be happy to break even at first but is there really enough interest in the rare and unusual in this country to make a venture worthwhile.
I`m really just fishing around for feedback at this time to get an idea of the marketplace .

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have.

Regards Graham

the short answer for any country is no. not for rare species. and that works for everything. reason is your going to get alot more customers wanting common fish than rare ones. and there is more money in it.in havong said that though there may be a market for rare ones there isnt enough money ernt to make a stable profit and enough profit to live off.
